Advertisers Access

Advertisers only have the access to inventory that a retailer explicitly permits.
By default no advertiser can create campaigns on any inventory and initial setup will see the first set of advertisers given access to a retailer’s inventory.

The Streaem team will support this configuration but the overriding principle is that retailer access controls drive the system.
Retailers can allow or restrict advertiser access along the following dimensions:

  • Inventory type (allowing access to category or search result pages as a whole)
  • For category inventory access allowed/disallowed at the top-level category granularity
  • For keyword inventory disallowing specific keywords for each advertiser
  • Restricting which products an advertiser can promote on the platform

Ongoing activities

Once the initial integration is complete the ongoing activities performed by the retailer are standard inventory management tasks.
These will include:

  • Updating advertiser access, allowing or restricting advertisers to different parts of the inventory
  • Adding or updating positions/slots as the page structure evolves or additional pages are added
  • Using the Streaem platform reporting capability for yield optimisation

In all the above tasks the Streaem service and support teams will be available to provide assistance.
