Supported look back window

The retailer determines the look back window to attribute add 2 carts or purchases for post view. We advice to have 1 day look back for post view.

Important:

  • Use the same endpoints
For add to cart and purchase attribution for display, retailers can use the same endpoints as they use for Sponsored Products. These are the cart and the purchase endpoints.
  • Post view tracking
The retailer needs to be able to identify if a user has seen an ad and clicked or only saw and did not click. This difference is what determines post click or post view attribution.
  • Attribution window
The retailer determines the look back window to attribute add to carts and purchases to an auction. The business should determine this and share this with IT.
  • Conversion_type
Once the retailer has identified if it’s post_click or post_view this value needs to be used to fill the Conversion_type attribute in the add to cart and purchase event.
