Inventory

The Inventory Management feature in Streaem enables retailers to add, update, or remove information about ad placements across various channels. This allows for full customisation and optimisation of ad performance. Here's how it applies to different ad types:

Sponsored Products

Retailers can manage positions for Search and Category targeting:

  1. Search Targeting:
  • Position Name: Define or update the name of the position for clarity.
  • Slots per Platform: Adjust the number of ad slots available for different device types (e.g., mobile, desktop).

  1. Category Targeting:
    • Add or update positions in the same way as search targeting.
    • Floor Price: Edit the minimum bid required for ads in specific categories to ensure profitability.

Display Ads

Retailers can manage ad positions for Pages and Search targeting:

  1. Position Configuration:
    • Name: Set or update the name of the position.
    • Platform: Specify whether the position applies to desktop, mobile, or in-app platforms.
    • Template: Choose or modify the ad template to match design standards.
    • Floor Price: Define or update the minimum bid price.
    • Fallback: Add alternative content or actions to display if the ad doesn't load.

Digital Out Of Home (DOOH)

DOOH inventory includes more detailed configuration options:

  1. Position Updates:
    • Name: Define or update the screen position’s name for internal tracking.
    • Floor Price: Set the minimum bid for ad placements on DOOH screens.
    • Format: Specify the type of content (e.g., video, static).
    • Screen Size: Define dimensions, including width and height, for targeted screens.
    • Duration: Set the minimum and maximum duration for ad content.

📘

Important:

  • Retailers can activate or deactivate each position individually for advertisers access.
  • Floor Prices are minimum prices set by a retailer that an advertiser must meet or exceed so their bid can be considered in the ad auction.
