Creatives
Creatives refer to the display banners and templates that are used for running targeted advertising campaigns. Retailers can manage these creatives, including fallback options and ad templates, to ensure the best experience for customers and advertisers.
Fallbacks (Optional)
Fallbacks are display banners that retailers can show when there are no eligible advertiser ads available for a particular position. This ensures that the designated ad space does not remain empty, providing a better experience for customers.
Fallback Creation:
- Template: You must assign a pre-existing template for the fallback banner.
- Title: A title is required to populate necessary fields in the fallback banner.
- Display Configuration: For each display position, a fallback can be set up, but it's not mandatory—retailers can choose to leave a position empty if no relevant ad is available.
Fallback Page Display:
- Name: The name of the fallback.
- Page & Positions: Specify where the fallback will appear.
- Content: Add relevant content to be displayed in the fallback banner.
Fallback banners ensure your display positions are utilised, even when there is no advertiser content available.
Templates
Templates are the design blueprints used for creating display banners for advertisers. Retailers set up templates that advertisers must use for their campaigns. These templates are associated with specific display positions across platforms.
Template Page Display:
- Name: Name of the template.
- Platform: The platform where the template is applicable (e.g., desktop, mobile).
- Page & Positions: Specify where the template will be applied.
- Dimensions: Include the width and height of the banner.
Template Creation:
To create a new template, retailers must provide the following information:
- Name: Template name.
- Platform: Choose which platform the template will be used on (e.g., mobile, desktop).
- Dimensions: Set the width and height of the ad.
- Font Size: Specify the font size used in the template.
- Landing Page Prefix: Add the URL prefix that will be used for the landing page.
- Call to Action: Customise or use preset calls to action (e.g., "Shop Now").
- Alignment Options: Set the alignment for elements in the banner.
- Custom Image Dimensions: Specify the custom width and height for any images in the ad.
- Colours: Choose background and call-to-action button colours.
- Custom Images: Upload any custom background or other images to be used in the template.
Template Overview:
Retailers have an overview of all the available display creative templates, and they can assign either new or existing templates to specific positions. The platform includes search options to easily locate templates for editing.
